When designing our rooms, safety and practicality were our top priorities: childproof sockets, special balcony locks and front door safety locks to protect the little ones. Ensuring a restful night's sleep is a prerequisite. The little ones sleep well in our lattice baby cots with soft bedding, night lights on request and anti-fall devices. Extra beds for older children ensure that the whole family wakes up fresh after a night at Bikács. A rested family can snuggle up on the wide double bed the next morning.
Cleaning & Hygiene
We take care of the easy evening routine: from the baby bath to the toilet runners to the children's bathrobe, we provide all the tools to make getting ready for the bathroom not a logistical task, but a fun and safe moment, just like at home. Diaper changing pads for babies, potty pads for toddlers, toilet seats and anti-slip pads for older children are all part of the room equipment.
Security
At Zichy Experience Farm, safety is key: we have equipped our rooms with child-proof plugs and special balcony locks, so parents can relax in complete peace, while the little ones can explore their new realm safely. The hotel has a BoriBari First Aid Shop.
Mobility

The Zichy Family Experience Farm has a baby-friendly approach. We provide many of the essentials for travelling with young children, so families really do need to pack less.
No separate climbing mats are provided in the rooms.
For young children of crawling and exploring age, we recommend the use of the estate's indoor playgrounds (e.g. the Forest Cave and the Wild Playground), where they can play in a safe, purpose-built environment.
Yes, a mini-fridge is available in the rooms for storing small snacks and drinks.
In addition, our Baby-Mama kitchen also has a separate fridge for families with young children, so baby food and special needs food can be conveniently stored.

Areas accessible by pushchair are provided, but due to the natural character of the area, uneven ground may be present in some parts.
At the Zichy Family Experience Farm, family-friendly environment includes a conscious hygiene policy. As many young children stay on the property at the same time, we pay special attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas throughout the year.
During periods of high infection (autumn-winter months or when there are more frequent outbreaks of illness nationwide), we follow an even stricter hygiene protocol. However, it is important to know that the flow of guests is constant and the incubation period of diseases varies, so their complete elimination cannot be guaranteed.
If we become aware of an outbreak of disease on the farm, we will act according to the following principles:
- In order to protect the community, we ask the guest concerned to avoid using the common areas, in particular the spa, the restaurant and the playgrounds, if possible.
- We carry out enhanced disinfectant cleaning in rooms and high-traffic areas, with particular emphasis on frequently affected surfaces.
- Small mobile toys in indoor play areas are temporarily taken out of use and disinfected if necessary.
- Hand disinfection stations are available at several points throughout the Experience Farm.
We inform our guests before arrival and on site and ask for their cooperation to ensure a peaceful and safe stay for all families.

My Booking
Centrally located 4 star hotel near Buda Castle and the Fisherman's Bastion below. Walking across the Chain Bridge (3 minutes from the hotel), you can reach the main street of the city, St. Stephen's Basilica or the Parliament in 15-20 minutes. Besides the location, services and room, what made us completely satisfied was the fact that we could walk around the city without missing anything. Breakfast is a miracle, everything is very good and always available from 7am to 11am.

I really liked the hotel room with balcony on the 6th floor. We enjoyed a generous breakfast buffet every morning in the lobby. The hotel's location near Clark Ádám Square (Buda side) was ideal for excursions, as all distances were covered by public transport or on foot. We are happy to recommend!

All within walking distance, but peace and quiet in the evening. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel has an excellent location, a few minutes from Buda Castle, the Fisherman's Bastion, Chain Bridge, the quay. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, the beds are very comfortable.

It is a clean hotel, very close to all major attractions. I walked 5 minutes to the Chain Bridge. They have a delicious, very varied breakfast. The beds are phenomenal, you can relax, quiet, clean. I have no complaints because they were very nice. Very close, about 2 minutes walk, there are restaurants where you can eat traditional Hungarian food. In short, this is the perfect place to stay in Budapest.
